Sirius: Adaptive Learning, Nearing Launch

Nearly a year after the start of “Investiții în Soluții de Educație Next Gen cu Waiheke AI” (SMIS 329812), Sirius, our adaptive learning platform, is entering its final stage of development.
At its core is a language model we're training for one specific use case: how people learn. Specialised for teaching interactions, it works with each course's materials so its explanations stay grounded in what the institution actually teaches.
A path that starts with what you know
Built on that foundation, Sirius is designed to:
- Assess what each learner already knows before they begin.
- Restructure the learning path around their starting level.
- Offer an AI tutor that answers using the course's own content.
- Use spaced repetition to return to concepts that might otherwise be forgotten.
- Track mastery of each concept for every learner.
For learners, that means spending study time where the gaps are greatest. For institutions, it means seeing measurable progress for each learner, concept by concept.
The next step is testing with the first users. That will move us toward the project's target of at least 300 users benefiting from personalised learning experiences on the AI-based educational platform. It is a target we're working toward, not a result we're claiming today.
We will share what we learn as testing progresses. You can also learn more about Sirius at siriusnow.net.
